#omg #i never noticed before #but the connection that jo makes between james and mr. weasley is a true testament to james’ character #because we all know that arthur was the only really really excellent father figure in the whole series #that’s the reason why jo wasn’t able to kill him off when she intended to #and it’s the biggest tragedy in the world that james never really got to be a father #and that lily never really got to be a mother #because i think right there #with jo drawing the connection to arthur and james #through something as simple as their lopsided glasses #that shows just how much of an amazing father james would have been #loving just like arthur #stern when he needed to be just like arthur #always up for a good laugh just like arthur #willing to protect his family no matter what just like arthur #and it is the biggest tragedy of these books that james never had a chance to be a dad #and now that i’ve over-analyzed that little bit of text #i’m going to go sob over james and lily for a little while #my darling otp

Ron Weasley meme / Favorite Ron and Hermione moment (2/2):
“Hang on a moment!” said Ron sharply. “We’ve forgotten someone!”
“Who?” asked Hermione.
“The house-elves, they’ll all be down in the kitchen, won’t they?”
“You mean we ought to get them fighting?” asked Harry.
“No,” said Ron seriously, “I mean we should tell them to get out. We don’t want anymore Dobbies, do we? We can’t order them to die for us—”
There was a clatter as the basilisk fangs cascaded out of Hermione’s arms. Running at Ron, she flung them around his neck and kissed him full on the mouth. Ron threw away the fangs and broomstick he was holding and responded with such enthusiasm that he lifted Hermione off her feet.
“Is this the moment?” Harry asked weakly, and when nothing happened except that Ron and Hermione gripped each other still more firmly and swayed on the spot, he raised his voice. “Oi! There’s a war going on here!”
Ron and Hermione broke apart, their arms still around each other.
“I know, mate,” said Ron, who looked as though he had recently been hit on the back of the head with a Bludger, “so it’s now or never, isn’t it?”
“Never mind that, what about the Horcrux?” Harry shouted. “D’you think you could just – just hold it in until we’ve got the diadem?”
“Yeah – right – sorry – ” said Ron, and he and Hermione set about gathering up fangs, both pink in the face.

I watch a lot of TV shows including: The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, Gossip Girl, 90210, Pretty Little Liars, Nikita, True Blood, Degrassi .....and a gazillion Disney shows.
I often find fiction better than reality.
